Desert Hunting SceneOHR-5898
An Arabian inspired hunting scene entirely handcrafted over the course of 15 months. The scene is set around the backdrop of a desert oasis, with Arabian horses, saluki dogs and four peregrine falcons, in sterling silver with 18kt yellow gold and silver plating. Intricate details are found throughout the piece, such as the horse saddles made of copper with gold, silver, copper and black ruthenium plating, with hand-set diamonds, blue, red and yellow sapphire and tsavorite.
The hunting rifle and shotguns, the engraved blankets and the falcons’ accessories. The scenery features a hand-carved crystal waterfall sits between rough malachite bushes, flowing into a carved fluorite lake. The lake is flanked by palm trees handmade with copper trunks, finished in bronze with 18kt yellow gold-plated palm fronds. The wood base is made from a clear and piano black lacquer, with petrified wood rocks & gold-plated bulrushes.
