A spin on one of the world’s most popular sports, it features seven handcrafted sterling silver skeletons: two teams of basketball players, the referee and the photographer. They are finely detailed, and some are plated in black ruthenium with the photographer holding an intricately made camera. The back board is carved from white quartz, bordered by a sterling silver frame in 18kt yellow gold.
The ball is carved in orange opal glass, inside the basket made of copper, plated in 18kt yellow gold, copper and black ruthenium. The base is designed as part of the court and is made in wood, with multiple layers of clear lacquer and inlaid with copper stripes.
